The European Investment Bank (EIB) has signed a loan agreement with Dutch drinking water provider Dunea N.V – the €100 million financing  will support Dunea’s 5-year investment plan for upgrading the drinking water supply and distribution networks  in The Hague region.

The People with Significant Control (PSC) register at Companies House is now live – the register includes information about the individuals who own or control companies including their name, month and year of birth, nationality, and details of their interest in the company.

The Rt Hon Patrick McLoughlin MP, Minister of State at the Department for Transport has said that investment in infrastructure is now even more important and that the UK must be seen to be open for business and building the infrastructure it needs.

Severn Trent PLC yesterday published a prospectus relating to a €6,000,000,000 Euro Medium Term Note Programme of Severn Trent Plc and Severn Trent Utilities Finance Plc as issuers and Severn Trent Water Ltd as guarantor of notes issued under the programme by Severn Trent Utilities Finance Plc.

The European Investment Bank has  agreed a £100 million investment in loans to UK small businesses originated through Funding Circle, the world’s leading marketplace for business loans.

Tideway, the new company established to construct the Thames Tideway Tunnel in London, has announced a bond issue totalling £100 million to help fund construction of the £4.2 billion supersewer.

Ministers from across the EU signed the Pact of Amsterdam yesterday, putting the European Investment Bank at the heart of the drive to build sustainable communities through local and regional governments.

Infrastructure investments in water and regulated utility assets are providing some of the lowest internal rates of return for investors, according to the latest infrastructure investors survey from Deloitte.
