Imtech puts ICT division up for sale

Royal Imtech has announced its intention to put its ICT division up for sale as part of its ongoing debt reduction program.

Imtech’s systems integration business (Capula Limited) has commissioned a replacement site Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system at Thames Water’s Lightwater Sewage Treatment Works.

Leading design, engineering and project management consultancy Atkins and China Communications Construction Company Ltd have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for global strategic cooperation.

United Utilities has gone out to tender with a facilities management services contract worth up to £90 million.

Anglian Water wind turbines come online

Two wind turbines at Anglian Water’s Newton Marsh water recycling centre began turning this week, in the latest stage of a project to provide renewable, green energy to the site.

i2O Water has announced the launch of Smart Pressure Management, the first technology platform that provides all levels of pressure management within one unified solution.

The EU must take urgent action to halt the spread of invasive species that are threatening native plants and animals across Europe, according to a scientist from Queen’s University Belfast.
