The Government of Rwanda has signed a public-private partnership agreement with a water management company, Metito, to develop a new bulk water supply plant to serve 40 percent of the capital city Kigali’s potable water requirements.

The new Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 which came into force on 6th April will see construction clients, consultants or contractors with inadequate health and safety standards face increased risk of legal action and liability.

United Utilities has gone out to tender with an AMP6 contract for Developer Services and the provision of mains and network connections worth an estimated £120 million.

Thames Water has awarded a contract for demolition work at a number of Tideway Tunnel sites worth an estimated £3.5 million.

United Utilities has awarded a contract to upgrade its Davyhulme wastewater treatment works in Manchester to meet European Union Directive requirements with a potential value of between £123 million to £171 million.

Northern Ireland Water has gone out to tender with a contract for the provision of SCADA services worth £820,000 - deadline to request related documents is today.

VolkerStevin Ltd has won a contract worth up to £6.5 million to deliver services and works for pier reconstruction and marine vessel relocations for the Thames Tideway Tunnel Project.
