Northern Ireland Water has appointed Jacobs UK Ltd as its consultant to help in the delivery of its Water Resource and Supply Resilience Plan (WR & SR Plan).

M&N Electrical & Mechanical Services Limited is set to expand its remit with Anglian Water following confirmation that the company is to be awarded an addition to its PPM servicing contract, above that set out in their existing 2012 framework appointment.

Construction output is forecast to increase 5.5% in 2015 according to the latest forecasts from the Construction Products Association, with infrastructure activity forecast to rise 7.6% in 2015, 9.2% in 2016 and 10.6% in 2017.

The Habtoor Leighton Group (HLG) has been awarded a US$608 million contract for the Construction of Mega Reservoir Primary Reservoir and Pumping Stations (PRPS) 3 for KAHRAMAA – Qatar’s General Electricity and Water Corporation.

Northern Ireland Water has gone out to tender with a construction works contract for sewage treatment plants, purification plants and refuse incineration plants worth up to £300 million.

Northern Ireland Water has gone out to tender with a contract for consultative engineering and construction services worth up to £8.4 million over six years.
