Northumbrian Water has awarded a £1m telemetry equipment contract to Schneider Electric Ltd and Servelec Systems Ltd.
The contract covers the supply of telemetry outstations to monitor and control NWL’s remote assets, such as pumping stations, treatment plants and service reservoirs.
The framework is to support the proposed telemetry outstation replacement programme through the appointment of telemetry outstation manufacturers to supply the required equipment.
Five companies were in the bidding for the work.
