United Utilities has gone out to tender for a number of gas micro turbines for wastewater applications.
The utility is seeking bids for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of Gas Micro Turbines between 100kW and 600kW capacity for combined heat and power generation on wastewater biogas applications. The contract also includes all gas clean-up and ancillary equipment.
United Utilities is planning to use an electronic auction for the tender.
Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 10am on 30th April. Interested suppliers will also need to complete a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire.
