Scottish Water is seeking to appoint two Alliance Partners to support the delivery of its future Quality & Standards IV (Q&S IV) capital investment programme for the regulatory period starting 2015, estimated to be worth around £750 million.
The two programme areas will include two lots: Waste Water Infrastructure and Water Infrastructure.
The waste water infrastructure Lot is estimated to be worth around £360 million, while the water infrastructure Lot could be worth £375 million.
The Alliance Partners are required to provide expertise, guidance, support and resources in design, planning, management and delivery of Waste Water Infrastructure and Water Infrastructure. This may include new assets, renewals, modification, maintenance, refurbishment and extensions to water networks, sewerage networks including UIDs and sewer rehabilitation works, and pumping stations. The works will include all civil engineering, process, mechanical, electrical, telemetry, control and instrumentation works as required.
The utility said project delivery is likely to be required prior to the start of the regulatory period 2015 to 2021.
Scottish Water envisages 4 to 6 applicants per lot will be invited to tender.
