London Borough of Wandsworth tenders c£621,000 contract for cold water testing

The London Borough of Wandsworth has gone out to tender with a contract for cold water testing with a total estimated value of £621,415 ( including VAT).

LAB ANALYSIS 1

The services required are broadly to analyse and report on the quality of water sampleswhich the Council has collected from cold water storage and distribution systems.

Standard sampling for coliforms in general needs blocks which is carried out yearly, accounting for 3994 samples per annum and reporting on the levels and types of bacteria present in cold water storage systems, enumerating and identifying legionella

Current estimated start and end contract dates are 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2032 with a further possible extension option up to 31 March 2034.

Deadline for submission of enquiries is 12:00pmon 5 May 2026 and tender submission deadline is 12:00pm on 15 May 2026.

Estimated award decision date is 31 October 2026.
