United Utilities is seeking supply chain engagement ahead of going out to tender later this year with an AMP8/9 contract for water and wastewater process equipment with an estimated value of £16.8 million including VAT.
The water company is currently undertaking a review of its process and treatment equipment agreements. The market engagement exercise is designed in anticipation of potential suppliers notifying United Utilities of their interest in supplying treatment equipment through AMP8 and AMP9.

The engagement deadline is 30 April 2026 – current estimated publication date of a formal tender notice is 31 October 2026. Current estimated start and end contract dates are 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2035.
