Chesterfield Borough Council has awarded a contract for water, wastewater and ancillary services with an estimated total value of £1.187 million (excluding VAT).

Scope of the contract covers the provision of water, wastewater and ancillary services for the supply of potable water to council buildings, the safe management and removal of wastewater in line with environmental and public health regulations, and a range of additional support functions designed to improve efficiency, monitoring and compliance.
The contract was awarded without prior publication of a call for competition via the Crown Commercial Service under its One Stop Shop for Water and Ancillary Services framework Lot 3.
The contract, which was signed on 17 March 2026, has been awarded to Water Plus Ltd – one of threee companies that tendered for the work.
