United Utilities is seeking supply chain interest in an upcoming tender for a water efficiency services contract during AMP8 with an estimated value of £42 million (inc VAT).

The purpose of the tender activity will scope suppliers that can provide in home, small business and sector-led audits. This includes the installation of water efficiency devices via water audits to help customers reduce their water use at home.
The water companies also require a provision for the supply of water saving devices, storage and stock management, a robust customer delivery route for orders, order processing, reporting, and fulfilment of the orders.

Current estimated start and end contract dates are 31 July 2026 to 30 July 2028, with a further possible extension option to 30 July 2034.
