Avove appointed as main delivery partner to Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water Developer Services Framework

Leading infrastructure and engineering company,  Avove, has been awarded a new five-year contract, with the potential to expand this to eight-years, to deliver Developer Services on behalf of Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water.

After a robust procurement process, Avove has been appointed as the main delivery partner, and began mobilising a dedicated team of experienced colleagues in November 2025, supporting operations across Wales and covering activity for both commercial and domestic developer services customers.

Avove said it is well-placed to deliver the contract - the firm has built a wealth of expertise through its successful provision of Developer Services to other key clients. As such, they will deliver enhanced collaboration, working alongside regional developers to ensure exceptional customer service and delivery excellence.

The contract gives both Avove and Welsh Water the opportunity to develop a next generation DS service provision across Wales, based on the use of the latest technological support and continuous learning from other portfolio contracts.

Mark Perkins, Chief Executive at Avove, said:

“This contract award marks an important milestone for Avove as we broaden our reach into new geographic regions, providing Developer Services expertise to Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water and its customers. The framework plays a vital role in Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water’s operations, and our proven track record with other major clients positions us well to deliver measurable, long-term value.

“This award reinforces our position as a leading tier 1 contractor and supports our growth plans across the UK. We look forward to working with Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water and developing our partnership in the future.”

Avove says that as an agile and responsive provider of non-infrastructure, infrastructure and engineering services, its expertise and approach to creating alternative solutions underpins strong operational performance while addressing the need for change and development in the sector.

Accordin to the infrastructure and engineering, its focus on outcomes has seen the business double in size in the last two years, expanding its operations into Northern Ireland and Wales.
