Severn Trent has gone out to tender on behalf of itself and sister company Hafren Dyfrdwy Cyfyngedig with an AMP8 HGV Framework contract worth an estimated £30 million (inc VAT).
The contract is being tendered in three separate Lots:
Lot 1. Jetvacs & Jetters (£6 million inc VAT)

Lot 2. HGV Units (£18 million inc VAT)
Covers requirements such as;
- Water Tractor & Tanker
- Waste Tractor & Tanker
- 7.5T Tractor
- Hookloader
- Grab Lorry
- Water Rigid
- Waste Rigid V1
- Waste Rigid V2
Lot 3. HGV Hire Requirements (£6 million inc VAT)
Covers requirements such as;

- Jetvac (18T-32T)
- Water Tractor & Tanker
- Waste Tractor & Tanker
- 7.5T Tractor
- Hookloader
- Grab Lorry
- Water Rigid

Severn Trent is currently having technical problems with its SAP Ariba Discovery Posting Link. In addition the tender deadline has been extended to 2.00pm Thursday 14 August 2025 - there are no further extensions beyond this date.
Current estimated contract dates are 31 December 2025 to 31 December 2029 with a possible further extension option up to 31 December 2035
Severn Trent expects to award the contract at the end of December 2025.
