Forestry England, the operative component of the Forestry Commission, has gone out to tender with a contract to put a Buildings Compliance Framework in place worth £4.092 million (inc VAT) - 3 of the Lots are for water services with a combined total value of £1.41 million (inc VAT).

The framework agreement tender for core building compliance services consists of 8 separate Lots including Electrical, Fire Safety, Legionella, Asbestos compliance and Water Supplies.
Current estimated start and end contract dates are 12 September 2025 to 12 September 2029.
Lot 4. Legionella Risk Assessments and Consultancy Services (£660,000 inc VAT) covers the provision of professional advice and undertaking legionella management services including legionella risk assessments or audits as required across the estate.
Lot 5. Legionella Monitoring Services (£630,000 inc VAT) covers the provision of professional Legionella monitoring services to ensure the risks identified in the risk assessment are managed where they cannot be managed in house.
Lot 8. Private Water Supplies ( £120,000 inc VAT) is for a professional consultant who is an expert in Private Water Supplies and able to provide objective advice on risk and existing infrastructure as well as design and specifying system improvements as required.
Each Lot of the framework will be awarded to a primary supplier, and will also contain a secondary "backup" supplier.
