Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council has awardeda contract for water hygiene services with an estimated total value of £5.625 million.

The contract was tendered in two separate Lots:
- Lot 1 – Risk Assessment, Consultancy Services and Training
- Lot 2 – Monitoring and Remedial Works
Hydrop E.C.S. Ltd has been awarded a contract under Lot 1, one of four companies who bid for the work.
HSL Compliance Ltd was awarded a contract under Lot 2 – again, thre company was one of four organisations who bid for the work.
Initial contract term runs from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2029, with the option to extend for a further one year period until 31 March 2030.
