North Yorkshire Highways has gone out to tender with a civil engineering coring and testing framework contract worth an estimated £2.24 million in total.

The framework agreement will be used by NY Highways the following organisations:
- North Yorkshire County Council
- City of York Council
- Leeds City Council
- Bradford Metropolitan District Council
- Calderdale Council
- Kirklees Council
- Wakefield Metropolitan District Council.
The contract is being tendered in the following Lots:
- Lot 1 Richmondshire District Area
- Lot 2 Hambleton District Area
- Lot 3 Scarborough District Area
- Lot 4 Ryedale District Area
- Lot 5 Craven District Area
- Lot 6 Harrogate District Area
- Lot 7 Selby District Area and City of York
- Lot 8 West Yorkshire Combined Authority Area
The authority is looking to appoint up to eight contractors to the framework agreement. Initial contract term is two years with two further annual extension options.
