Defra tenders £200k research project on current environment harms caused by farming in England

The Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs has gone out to tender with a contract for a research project on current environment harms caused by farming and land management activities in England worth an estimated £200,000.

Defra is looking to establish a comprehensive research project to survey, record, and analyse the current environment harms caused by farming and land management activities in England.

The research project will be used to produce a foundation of evidence on which the Regulation & Enforcement team can develop their long term programme.

Time limit for receipt of projects or requests to participate in the tender for the Impacts Framework and Compliance Monitoring for Defra Regulation & Enforcement (R&E), Future Farming and Countryside Programme (FFCP) is 8 July 2021.
