Affinity Water has gone to tender with an AMP7 contract for water meter reading and associated services worth £1 million.

Scope of the contract includes:
- reading of AMR meters
- manual meters external to customers premises
- internal meter readings
The company's aims are to:
- provide accurate billing data to the Company's customers
- aid the Company in the reduction of complaints and customer contact
- improve customer perception
- increase receipt of positive customer feedback
- improve the company's Customer Satisfaction score (CSAT)
Initial contract term is three years with up to two years’ in further extension options.
