Anglian Water has awarded a contract for a Virtual Reality (VR) technology learning experience platform worth an estimated £815k.
The water company went out to tender in October 2020 to assess bidders for the supply of a learning experience platform involving the creation and running of bespoke training workshops delivered using Virtual Reality (VR) technology.
Estimated contract value when the contract was tendered was put at £815k.
The final contract award value has not been disclosed.
Cumbria-based firm EDG VR Ltd has been appointed as Virtual Reality Learning Experience Provider – one of nine companies in the bidding for the work.
