Thames Water awards pumping station construction work contract

Thames Water has awarded a contract for pumping station and rising mains construction work at its Earlswood Sewage Treatment Works.

Work covered under the contract includes:

  • design and build of submersible pumping station
  • rising main
  • provision of mechanical and electrical equipment, valves, flow meters and instrumentation
  • construction of additional chambers
  • alterations to existing structures

J Browne Construction Co. Ltd will carry out the work for the water company.
