Thames Water has gone out to tender with a contract for ozone generators maintenance worth an estimated £11.5 million in total.
The contract, which covers maintenance of all ozone plant across the water company’s estate (9 sites in total) is being tendered in two separate Lots.
Lot1 - Region 1 – covers ozone plants at Thames’ Chingford WTW, Coppermills WTW, Farmoor WTW, Fobney WTW and Swinford WTW.
Lot 2- Region 2 – covers Ashford WTW, Hampton WTW, Kempton WTW and Walton WTW.
Services to be provided under both Lots will include:
- planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- defect maintenance (DM)
- audits
- asset inspections
- testing and reporting.
Maintenance of gas detection and ventilation systems will also be required under the contract
The contract will be awarded for an initial term of 3 years with options to extend up to a maximum duration of 8 years.
