Sutton and East Surrey Water has awarded a contract for the delivery of its non-infrastructure investment programme worth an estimated £60 million.
The framework contract covers maintenance and replacement activity on the water company’s above ground water assets throughout the SES Water operating area. Assets include water treatment plant, pumping stations, reservoirs and boreholes.
Lot No 1 Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation has been won by Somerset-based Bridges Electrical Engineers Ltd, one of three companies in the bidding for the work.
Lot 2 for Small Building and Civils Works has been awarded to West Sussex firm JT Mackley and Co Ltd, one of five companies in the bidding.
