Scottish Water has awarded a contract for electricity metering services worth an estimated £5 million – the water company was looking for a comprehensive end-to-end managed service for its HH, AMR and private meters.
The contract covers a range of services, including out of hours support and resource in installation, maintenance, operations, data collection and management of metering services.
The water company has approximately 4822 active sites connected to the distribution network for the provision of electricity.
Dataserve UK has won a place on the contract which will run for five years with a further five year extension option.
