WSP wins place on major Anglian Water asset management framework

WSP has been appointed by Anglian Water to provide asset management consulting services over the next six years - one of four companies to have been appointed on the framework.

The regulated water business at WSP, one of the world’s leading engineering professional services consulting firms,  has worked with Anglian Water since 2004.

The latest appointment follows the team’s successful work delivered over the previous four Asset Management Plans (AMP).

WSP will provide a number of water consulting services to support Anglian Water’s Asset Management Specialist Consultancy Services Framework, including mathematical modelling of sewer systems, potable and non-potable networks, coastal and rivers as well as other consultancy services such as project management, expert advice and leadership on climate change, hydrology and hydraulics, and water quality assessment and design.

Andy Power, Framework Manager at WSP said:

“The water consulting team is very pleased to continue our strong relationship with Anglian Water and look forward to drawing on our experience and the wider WSP community to support the range of services delivered through the framework.”

WSP has provided asset management consulting services for a number of major water schemes across the UK and Ireland; including Welsh Water’s AMP6 framework, Northern Ireland Water’s PC15 Professional Services Framework where WSP is currently delivering Irish Water’s Nationwide Asset Register Data Capture Programme, and has been supporting the award winning “Every Drop Counts” project for Essex & Suffolk Water.
