Thames Water has gone out to tender with a CHP engine maintenance contract with an estimated total value of £19.9 million.
The water company intends to award one or more agreements for the repair, maintenance and supply or parts & spares for CHP engines used on waste treatment sites, directly or on its behalf by its contractors on the CHP Engine Maintenance framework.
The contract is being tendered in six Lots, with Lots 3 and Lot 4 split by further sub-lots.
Thames Water envisages that the contract will be awarded for an initial term of 3 years with options to extend the agreement by 2 x 2 year periods, and then a one year period up to a maximum duration of 8 years.
Supply of engines spares and parts for Jenbacher CHP Engines in the Thames Water region. We are looking for bidders to be able to offer us parts from different procurement routes: OEM parts & equivalent universal parts that can meet the functional specification of their OEM parts.
