United Utilities seeks supply chain input in strategic network redesign initiative

United Utilities is embarking upon a strategic initiative to simplify, standardise and transform its existing network environment and is seeking supply chain input ahead of going out to formal tender in October.

The water company wants to to support its strategic business and technology goals by transitioning services to an optimised, scalable and future proof network infrastructure.

United Utilities is inviting interested suppliers to comment via an early supply change engagement process – the outcome of the process will inform the water company’s final Statement of Requirements.

At this stage the Prior Information Notice is a request for information only - procurement procedures will start later this year with 31st October 2017 currently the estimated date for the issue of a contract notice.

Deadline for interested suppliers to submit responses is 31st August 2017 – click here to access the PIN documentation.
