Thames Water tenders £15m electronic components contract

Thames Water has gone out to tender with a contract for the provision of general electrical/electronic components and spares worth an estimated £15 million.

Items the water company is looking for from suppliers include cable, relays, sockets, transformers, switches, fuses and batteries for Thames’ maintenance and operational teams.

Suppliers tendering for the framework must have the ability for Thames Water to order via an online catalogue along with traditional over the counter methods. All deliveries are expected to be next day delivery if the item is in stock.

The contract will be awarded for an initial term of 3 years with options to extend up to a maximum duration of 8 years.
