Southern Water has awarded a framework agreement for the provision of screens and screens handling products worth an estimate £7.25 million in total.
Due to the complexity of the services required,the contract was tendered in four separate Lots:
- Lot 1 Supply and/or installation of combined sewerage screens and spares
- Lot 2 Supply and/or installation of fine screens and spares
- Lot 3 screens and/or installations of band screens and spares
- Lot 4 supply and/or installation of screens handling washer compactors and spares
M&N Electrical and Mechanical Services Ltd has won a place on the framework for all four Lots, The Longwood Engineering Company Ltd has won a place on Lots 2 and 3, while Huber Technology has also won a place on Lot 4.
Four companies were in the bidding for Lots 1,2 and 3, with a total of five bidding for Lot 5.
