Scottish Water has gone out to tender with a contract to support its Water Network Maintenance work worth up to an estimated £104 million.
The Alliance will cover various types of work including surveys, civil engineering and plumbing activities. Work-streams to be supported include capital maintenance projects, metering, water response, leakage and connections.
The operational area to be covered is pan Scotland - Scottish Water may also split the work into geographical areas. The estimated value is based upon the anticipated maximum value of the work included within the following range:
£29.52m to £59.04m for an initial 4 year term and a total of between £52.36m and £104.72m inclusive of 4 x 12 month extensions.
The contract is divided into Lots - suppliers can submit tenders for one or more Lots.
- Lot 1 - Capital Projects
- Lot 2 - Metering
- Lot 3 - Water Response Support
- Lot 4 - Leakage
- Lot 5 - Water Connections
Scottish Water is looking to appoint up to 15 suppliers to the framework agreement.
Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 5th August 2016 - followed by a subsequent estimated date of dispatch of invitations to tender or to participate to selected candidates of10th October. Click here to access the tender documentation.
