Southern Water has gone out to tender with a meter reading contract for half hourly data collection.
The contract is for the provision of Half Hourly Collection and Meter Operator services for an initial period of 5 years. The water company will require half-hourly data files which will need to be sent daily that will be used to analyse consumption trends and enable efficiency measures. Southern Water haS approximately 350 Half-Hourly metered sites.
The contract includes a further 2 year extension, in addition to the initial 5 year contract which incorporates a break clause at 36 months.
No information has been provided with regard to the potential overall contract value.
