United Utilities has awarded an AMP6 contract for the supply of new and replacement centrifugal and positive displacement pumps worth an estimated £54 million.
The types of pump covered under the framework include centrifugal and positive displacement, packaged auto pressure booster pumpsets, submersibles, mixed axial flow, axial split casing, end suction, progressing cavity and RAM.
The frameworks scope includes the design and manufacture, supply and delivery of, off-loading, factory acceptance test (FAT) and site acceptance test (SAT), installation or approval of the installation and commissioning services to confirm satisfactory operation of the pumpset.
No information has as yet been made available with regard to the successful suppliers.
