United Utilities has awarded a £26.4 million-plus framework contract for the supply and delivery of process instrumentation during AMP6.
The Framework covers the supply of a variety of process instruments and related spares, reagents and consumables required for United Utilities water and wastewater sites. The water company said the frameworks establish a sustainable and cost effective delivery route for all instrumentation required for AMP6 that is effective, responsive and fit for purpose.
Areas of instrumentation covered include;
- Analytical instruments (Ph, Chlorine, Turbidity, Metals, Colour, Dissolved Oxygen, Suspended Solids, Phosphate, Ammonium, UV254, Fixed Gas Detection, Conductivity, Alkalinity, Nitrate and Nitrile, TOC/BOD, Streaming Current and Calorific Value),
- Level Instruments (Conductive, Hydrostatic Head, Ultrasonic, Radar, Level Switches, Float Switches, Sludge Blanket Depth/Interface and Vibrating Fork)
- Flow Instruments (Electromagnetic, Coriolis, Ultrasonic Time of Flight, Open Channel, Thermal Flow, Thermal Mass, Vortex Gas and Ultrasonic Flow Switches)
- Temperature and Pressure Instruments.
