South West Water has awarded two AMP6 contracts for the supply of pipes worth a total of £5.5 million.
Yorkshire-based company Westwood Pipelines won two contracts which run for five years. The contract for barrier PE pipe is worth £3.5 million, while a separate contract for PE pipe is worth £2 million.
Three companies were in the bidding for the work. The contract went out to tender via the Achilles UVDB system.
