Thames Water visitors at Benson STWThames Water has hosted a visit by Freddie van Mierlo, MP for Henley and Thame, local councillors and Thames 21 to view a recently completed £9.7 million upgrade project at its Benson Sewage Treatment Works.

SEVERN TRENT LOGOSevern Trent is creating over 440 new jobs to kick off a major £415 million project that will see 870 miles of new water pipes being installed across the region - the most significant water industry investment in water pipes in the last 10 years.

SOUTHERN WATER Swalecliffe WWTW upgradesSouthern Water has optimised its Swalecliffe Wastewater Treatment Works to increase available storage, reducing storm overflows by 36%. The optimisation cost around 90% less than building a new storm tank and was much less carbon intensive.

NI WATER ARTIFICIAL FOG TECH MISTNI Water is using innovative FOG technology to identify properties where foul drains, which include drainage from bathrooms and washing machines, are misconnected to the stormwater drains/sewers.

NWG WRMP OCTOBER 2024 Northumbrian Water has recently published its latest Water Resources Management Plan for 2025-30 (WRMP24) which confirms resilient water supplies for the North East for the next 25 years.

yw-logo-blueYorkshire Water is three quarters of the way through a £27.8 million programme that will reduce the frequency and volume of storm overflow discharges at 41 of its wastewater treatment sites across the region.
