NORTHUMBRIAN WATER ALDIN GRANGE STWNorthumbrian Water has completed work on a £5.8 million project to to increase capacity at a County Durham sewage treatment works and help protect river water quality.

SCOTTISH WATER Renfrew Rising Main ReliningThe first phase of Scottish Water’s multi-million-pound £10m-plus project to upgrade a burst-prone rising main in Renfrew has reached the halfway point.

STORMWATER STORAGE TANK GENERIC Yorkshire Water is investing £2.5m in Mapplewell, near Barnsley to reduce the number of discharges into the river Dearne from a storm overflow in the village.

NWL LOGONorthumbrian Water is starting work on upgrades to a sewage treatment works in Hartlepool, which will help to protect water quality – the company is investing £1.1 million in the installation of a new storm tank at its site in Greatham.

SEVERN TRENT LOGOSevern Trent has again been awarded the highest 4-star status in the Environmental Performance Assessment (EPA) for a fifth consecutive year by the Environment Agency - the first time this has ever been achieved.
