The London Fire Brigade has been tackling a major flooding incident following a burst water main in Islington at 10pm last night.

Southern Water has finally managed to restore water supply to more than 25,000 properties in St Leonards and Hastings who have been without water since Thursday evening when a water main burst.

South East Water is investing £400,000 into the water supply network to replace a water pipe in Benenden which has burst 14 times in the last five years.
