NI Water is starting work today on a major water infrastructure improvement scheme in the Pomeroy/Carrickmore Area of County Tyrone which will continue until January 2027.
The £5.5 million investment in the upgraded water infrastructure will improve the security of the local water supply and help to enhance drinking water quality.
The work will involve pipelaying along the Termon Road area of Carrickmore in early May for approximately 8 months and will require a lane closure before the works progress in the wider area.
“NI Water’s contractor Farrans Glanua JV are carrying out the work, which will be completed in sections to keep disruption to a minimum.
