Welsh Water contract win for Morgan Est

Morgan Est, one of the UK’s leading infrastructure specialists, has been retained as a Capital Delivery partner by Dwr Cymru Welsh Water for the Asset Management Period (AMP 5).

The five-year framework, which begins on 1st April 2010, will involve the design and build works for both clean and wastewater programmes throughout south Wales. The works follow on from the AMP 4 programme, where Morgan Est successfully delivered a £130 million wastewater capital programme in south east Wales. Morgan Est is also currently delivering Welsh Water’s Advanced Digestion programme valued at £75 million.

Iain Sutherland, Water and Waste Director for Morgan Est, said:

“We have an established long-term working relationship with Welsh Water which has been developed over the last three asset management periods and we are delighted to have been retained as a partner for the next period.”
