Scottish Water is to begin a £1.3 million programme of sewer upgrade work across Edinburgh in the coming days.
The project, which is being carried out by the utility’s alliance partner aBV, will see work at over 40 different locations across the capital over the next six months.
The first section of work will get underway in Longniddry on the 27th January. The work involves localised repairs and full length re-lining of sewers at various sites across the city on a rolling programme.
