Inflowmatix strengthens senior management team

Inflowmatix Ltd, the company formed to develop products and services for the water industry based on world leading R&D by Dr Ivan Stoianov’s group at Imperial College London, has strengthened its technical and senior management team with the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer and other Industry experts.

Steve George joins Inflowmatix as Chief Executive Officer with overall responsibility for carrying forward the company’s vision whilst nurturing the culture of developing and delivering products and services of the highest quality to its clients. The new CEO has worked in the water industry since 1999 with a passion for developing solutions, solving problems and delivering real benefits to companies across the UK water sector and beyond. Before joining Inflowmatix he worked in business and market development for Aqualogy as part of the Suez group.

Robin Bell joins Inflowmatix as VP Engineering and COO and is responsible for building a world-class engineering and operations team to deliver a range of products that will enable water companies to monitor and optimize the dynamic hydraulic behaviour of large scale networks. Prior to joining Inflowmatix, Robin Bell was Hardware Director at i2O Water where he co-ordinated the launch and manufacturing ramp of a wide range of Smart data loggers.

Dr. Mike Williams joins Inflowmatix as CTO where he is responsible for building and providing vision and leadership to a world-class software/firmware engineering team. The team is developing functionally rich, high quality and secure platforms and applications to address water companies’ requirements and deliver tangible benefits. Prior to Inflowmatix, Mike was Software & IT Director at i2O Water where he recruited, coached and led the teams that produced i2O's SaaS platform, for which he was also the architect.

Set up in July this year, Inflowmatix creates innovative solutions for the optimization of calm, resilient and energy efficient operation of water supply networks by continuously monitoring and analyzing the fluid dynamics in complex networks.

The company said its expertise in modelling the steady and unsteady-state hydraulics of water distribution networks, combined with knowledge and experience in the design and implementation of embedded electronic systems, yields compelling returns on investment for its customers.
