FT reports private equity group acquired 42% stake in Yorkshire Water at “a steep discount”
EQT, the private equity group who formally acquired a 42% shareholding in Kelda Holdings Ltd, the ultimate parent company of Yorkshire Water in June 2026, acquired the stake from Deutsche Bank at “a steep discount” in a deal “worth less than the value of its regulated assets”, according to a report in the Financial Times this morning.
