Industry regulator Ofwat has published links to the water companies revised AMP6 Business Plans.

The water companies submitted their original business plans to Ofwat in December 2013 – the regulator then assessed key elements on the plans via its risk-based review process.

Two companies – Affinity Water and South West Water – qualified for enhanced status and did not have to submit revised plans. The other sixteen companies could then choose whether to submit revised plans by 2 May or by 27 June.

Links to the revised business plans are currently available for the following companies:

• Dee Valley
• Dŵr Cymru
• Portsmouth
• South Staffs Cambridge
• Southern
• Thames
• United Utilities
• Wessex

Ofwat has now started its formal query process for the revised plans which will set out a deadline for company responses. The regulator has told the companies that the query process is not intended to provide an opportunity for an extended dialogue or negotiation.
