LONDON SURFACE WATER STRATEGYThe Flood Ready London partnership, including Thames Water, have published the first London Surface Water Strategy to make the capital more resilient to surface water flooding.

WATER BUTTWessex Water and partners are progressing work to tackle flooding in Chard - Chard residents are being urged to back a new phase of the drive to reduce historic local issues with flooding by joining a pilot project that could see more than 800 water butts handed out to homes in the Somerset town.

CIWEM REPORT ON SURFACE WATER FLOOD RISK MANAGEMENT MAY 2023A new report from CIWEM, the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management, is warning that only a third of local authorities have enough staff to manage flash flood risk.

LONDON FLOOD REVIEWAn independent review which has been commissioned by Thames Water to examine the flash flooding that affected many parts of the capital in July 2021 has launched.
