Early statistics published by the Met Office for January 2014 show that the southeast and central southern England region has already had its wettest January in records going back to 1910, with three days still to go.

Speedyhire Board announces new CEO

The Board of Speedy Hire has announced that it has appointed Mark Rogerson as Chief Executive with effect from today.

Prime Minister David Cameron has today announced new plans to cut red tape in the UK – including the removal of 80,000 pages of environmental regulations.

Somerset County Council has this afternoon called a major incident for the whole of Somerset in the light of ongoing flood risk for the region.

David Cameron has told the World Economic Forum that Europe will need to provide cheap and predictable sources of energy in order to encourage businesses to relocate- including shale gas - and that burdensome regulation could drive investors away.
