ERIKSIndustrial services provider ERIKS has won a new three year contract with South West Water to maintain the utility’s waste water pumps from their networks throughout Devon and Cornwall and some areas of Somerset and Dorset.

 

 

Two thirds of construction companies admit that they pay their own suppliers late while one in three have come close to going out of business due to late payments, a survey has revealed.

The first year programme of work also included a commitment to address the problems of cyclicality in the water sector as part of a joint study with Ofwat.

A new poll from Friends of the Earth reveals 85 per cent of British public would like to see the Government increasing the use of clean British energy and reducing the use of overseas gas, with marine energy seen as most desired renewable energy source.

 

Yorkshire Water is constructing a new anaerobic digestion plant at its waste water treatment works in Sheffield, which will generate renewable electricity and cut the company's carbon emissions.
