Thames Water has awarded three contracts for the provision of flow monitoring services.

International Trade Secretary, Rt Hon. Dr Liam Fox MP has announced that UK Export Finance (UKEF) has provided Bahrain’s Ministry of Works with a loan of £27.9 million under its direct lending facility to support UK-headquartered water and wastewater specialist Bluewater Bio’s contract win.

Severn Trent Water has gone out to tender with a contract for the supply of electricity to Severn Trent Water and Hafren Dyfrdwy Cyfyngedig worth an estimated £900 million.

Dwr Cymru Welsh Water has gone out to tender with a contract for tank and reservoir cleaning services worth an estimated £17.5 million.

A fledgling Cumbrian company whose innovative technology with the potential to be up to 90% more energy efficient which could help slash the cost of water treatment worldwide has won its first major contract with United Utilities.

nmcn (formerly North Midland Construction Plc) has secured a £56m design and build project for Growth, Housing and Environment of the States of Jersey (SoJ), to develop a new sewage treatment works at Bellozanne, St Helier.

Anglian Water has gone out to tender with an industry specific software contract for hydraulic modelling software, licensing, support and maintenance worth an estimated £1.5 million-plus.

Scottish Water has gone out to tender with a contract for the supply and installation of photovoltaic equipment and energy storage systems worth an estimated £11 million.

Global infrastructure services firm AECOM has secured a contract with J Murphy & Sons as lead designer for the North Bristol Relief Sewer, a new 6.5km tunnel for Wessex Water that will reduce flood risk and increase stormwater storage capacity to accommodate ongoing and future developments in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
