SWANSEA TIDAL LAGOONSwansea Council – working in partnership with the Swansea Bay City Region – has decided to press ahead with the Swansea Bay tidal lagoon development rejected by the Government in June this year.

United Utilities is inviting suppliers who would be interested in tendering for the provision of both meter operating and and data collection services to provide it with preliminary details about their organisation.

Anglian Water has gone out to tender with a contract for business process outsourcing worth an estimated £12 million.

Thames Water has gone out to tender with a contract for filter media and refurbishment worth an estimated £28 million.

wrc welsh water upgrade 1WRc is assisting Skanska commission the upgrades to Welsh Water’s Bryn Cowlyd water treatment works in the Conwy valley.

Yorkshire Water has gone out to tender with a contract for specialist monitoring for urban drainage, river flow and water quality framework worth an estimated £37 million.

Northern Ireland Water has gone out to tender with a contract for software services worth an estimated £25 million.

Northern Ireland Water has gone out to tender with a contract for renewable electricity worth an estimated £56 million.

Yorkshire Water has gone out to tender with a contract for specialist modelling and auditing services for its urban drainage, river flow and water quality framework worth an estimated £131 million.

Balfour Beatty, the international infrastructure group, has announced that it has been appointed as the sole contractor to Scape Group’s second generation civil engineering frameworks, valued at a combined total of up to £2.1 billion revenue.
