Irish Water has awarded the contract for the design and construction of the Cobh Town networks contract to a Farrans Construction and Sorensen Civil Engineering Limited joint venture as part of the €144 million Cork Lower Harbour Main Drainage Project.

United Utilities has gone out to tender with a framework contract for environmental surveys and consultancy worth an estimated £10.4 million.

VBA, a joint venture between VolkerStevin, Boskalis Westminster and Atkins, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, has been appointed to the Environment Agency’s (EA) national Marine and Coastal framework.  

Yorkshire Water has gone out to tender with a contract for nitrogen purging and digester maintenance across all of its sites worth an estimated £4.8 million.

Scottish Water has gone out to tender with a contract for recruitment services worth an estimated £4.6 million in total. 

Central Bedfordshire Council has gone out to tender with a regeneration and business consultancy framework contract, including a Lot for the provision of land drainage and specialist design/checking support, worth an estimated £40 million in total.

The Environment Agency has awarded a contract for environmental consultancy services to seven firms worth an estimated £4 million in total.

Dwr Cymru Welsh Water has gone out to tender with an AMP7 contract for the provision of meter reading services and equipment.
