Morrison Utility Services, the leading utility services provider in the UK, has been selected by Anglian Water to support the delivery of its Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) water and wastewater programme for the AMP6 period 2015-2020.

Beginning in April 2015, the five-year framework contract is valued at approximately £75m over the period, with the potential to extend for up to an additional 10 years. Under the terms of the agreement, Morrison Utility Services will deliver reactive and planned small-value capital projects on mainly non-infrastructure water and wastewater networks.

“We are delighted to have secured this water and wastewater framework contract with Anglian Water. Morrison Utility Services has an established and demonstrable track record in collaborative working and we will use this extensive experience to deliver safe, cost-efficient and innovative operations that will support Anglian Water’s business plan. We look forward to establishing a strong and effective alliance with Anglian Water, Barhale and Kier over the approaching AMP6 period and beyond.”

Jason Tucker, Head of Capital Delivery and Supply Chain Management for Anglian Water said that confirmiation of partners for the vitally important alliance was another significant step forward in the AMP6 procurement process, which had  been developed to ensure organisations were selected that share Anglian’s vision who were committed to the same outcomes as its AMP6 business plan.
