Wessex Water has awarded two separate contracts for the supply of chemicals during AMP6 with a combined total value of £1m.

Brenntag UK has won a contract worth £500K for the supply of packaged chemicals, while Omex Environmental Ltd has been awarded a £500K contract for the supply of nitrates at 45 sewage pumping stations throughout the Wessex Water operating region.

Three  companies were in the bidding for each contract, which both run for the five year AMP6 period.
